Thanks to all of the volunteers that made the sale run smoothly. You did an awesome job in unpleasant weather.
There were 246 animals sold for a gross payment of $23,560.50 to consignees.
One late fee, one tag application fee and three membership fees were also collected.
The prices were:
$1.10 adult goats
$.80 adult sheep
The next sale will probably be late August to early September. Date to be announced later.
Mr. Gene Dill, owner & operator of Hollering Hill Auction in Nathalie, VA, will share his ideas and goals for his new operation at the May business meeting Thursday May 25th at 7:00PM.
The Boer Goat Association of North Carolina will be holding its annual production goat sale on November 5, 2016 at the Rowan County Fairgrounds.
Consignment Sale Update:
There were a total of 317 animals processed at the August 27, consignment sale (178 goats and 139 sheep) for a total of $33,743.25. The prices were:
We also collected 10 membership fees, 5 late registration fees, and 11 scrapie tag attachment fees.
