Goat Hauling

June 20, 2010

It’s not unusual for a goat rancher to sell a goat to someone who hog-ties the critter and tosses it into his trunk for transport.  Keep in mind that such transport may not be legal.

SVMGA Adds Farm Website Page

June 4, 2010

The Southern Virginia Meat Goat Association has added a “Farms” page to its website.  The Farms page will eventually list all the SVMGA members who have farm websites.

In May 2010, the SVMGA website had 754 hits.  This figure is expected to increase as more people look to SVMGA as a valuable resource for information on meat goats.  Listing your farm’s website on the SVMGA site could result in added web traffic and serve as a form of free advertising.

If you are an SVMGA member and would like to have your website listed, go to the “Farms” page and leave the information in the comments section at the bottom.
